Battersea Power Station is one of the largest mixed-use redevelopments in London. PGSO was appointed as a Battersea Power Station consultancy to conduct a comprehensive asset condition reporting and condition survey across seventeen buildings within the development, covering phases 1, 2, 3 and 6.

The scope of the project ran from basement level three to the eighteenth floor, encompassing all common areas, plant rooms, riser cupboards, and public spaces. Each mechanical and electrical asset was meticulously recorded against its location and assessed for condition.

Every phase was delivered as a distinct package, including an asset collection spreadsheet that listed every item and its precise location, alongside a photographic condition report that documented the state of each asset at the time of the survey. The full survey was completed over three months, ensuring thoroughness in asset condition reporting.

The final output is an asset register designed to be integrated into a maintenance system, complete with a photographic record that facilitates lifecycle planning and capital budgeting across the estate. This approach minimises the need for anyone to revisit the site to verify asset locations, ensuring streamlined HVAC services management.
